FAQ
Questions, answered.
Where do sessions take place?
By default at a professional recording studio in Los Angeles. Studio time is billed separately and agreed before your session. Zoom sessions and sessions at a location you prefer in the LA area are also available.
How do I book?
Send a request with your service and two preferred times (Pacific Time, Monday to Friday). Pops reviews every request personally, and you will receive a confirmation by email once your time is approved.
What happens in a session?
You meet one-on-one with Pops. He listens to where you are, works on your voice or reviews your music, answers your questions, and gives you honest feedback and practical next steps.
How long is a session?
Every session is 60 minutes. New clients start with a $50 consultation so Pops can hear where you are and recommend a plan.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. The consultation is $50. Pops likes to start with a consultation so he understands where you are, what you want to accomplish and how he can best help. He prefers to work in person in Los Angeles; artists out of state can consult by video or phone.
Who is this for?
Singers, artists, producers, songwriters, performers and parents of young talent, at any stage. You do not need to be signed or professional to book. Pops most enjoys working with artists who genuinely want music as a career and are ready to push through the rough spots.
How should I prepare?
Come with your goals written down and two or three songs, recordings or performance videos ready to share. For vocal sessions, arrive hydrated and warmed up if you can.
Can you guarantee a record deal or placement?
No. Nobody honest can promise that. What you get is experienced guidance, candid feedback and a clear plan. The work and the results are yours.
